I heard about Chris Keyzer Restorations (Chris’s Auto Body back then) from several classic car enthusiasts over 8 years ago.  I was building my 1965 Chevelle and I had taken it to a local body shop that I was less than impressed with and I ended up not having them work on it.

After talking with Chris and seeing some of the work he had done, I took my Chevelle to him for complete body work and paint.  What impressed me the most was the time and effort he put into the work he did. His attention to detail and his knowledge of what needed to be done was exactly what I was looking for. He even fabricated a body panel that was no longer available from any of the reproductions outlets. The paint job he did was great and it certainly showed the skill he has in putting the finishing touch on his work.

Over the years I’ve taken several vehicles to Chris, it doesn’t matter how big or small the job is, Chris takes the same approach to all his work. He treats other peoples vehicles like they were his own that he’s working on.

Thanks Chris,

Ron Welsh Belwood

If you are looking for a superb body and paint job for your build, look no further than Chris Keyzer. His work is exceptional, especially the attention to detail as in body lines and joints. His paint system is excellent and his painting shows off his flawless body work.

Chris comes highly recommended from me and my ‘36 GMC.

The GTO looks great!!
Once again you prove yourself to be “The Man” in the restoration business! That’s also why I would trust you with my life, when it comes to restoring one of my cars or anyone else’s car. I’ve gotten So many complements on the car, and MANY people ask me where the body and paint was done, (and I’ve only had the car out to 4 shows so far). I wouldn’t be surprised that you’ll hear from somebody mentioning me, and them wanting to get you do their car… Even after telling them about your long waiting list. They all agree that you are THAT good, and “waiting” for THAT calibre of restoration work is acceptable. If you could only overhear how I “gush” over you when I’m asked, you would be proud.

Keep up the GREAT work…. You are “The MAN”!!!

Chris Keyzer Restorations has completed three rotisserie restorations on my Mopar Classic collection over the years. Superior workmanship, fantastic quality all at a fair price. Chris delivers on his schedules and does not take shortcuts, a guy who knows his stuff. I am continually impressed with every job. I still have most of the cars in my garage and they look the day they came out of the paint booth. Would not take my cars anywhere else. Currently have two projects lined up on his doorstep.

The summer of 2018 I was looking for a shop to take my 67 GTO for some body repairs. Keyser Restorations was recommended by a friend and I went to see Chris. He analyzed the job and explained what needed to be done. I have a lot of pride in my vehicle (I bought it 50 years ago). The work was completed and I was very satisfied with the professional and personal attention given the car. An excellent facility with modern equipment and complete work needs available. I will definitely come back for any further work I may need and have no problem recommending this shop. Bev. Genoe Meaford Ontario.

16 years ago a shop restoring my Z-28 suddenly closed leaving me 3 days to get a trailer and retrieve my car before I lost it. Chris’s Autobody  was willing to take on the job as other shops would not work on a project that someone else had started. 15 years later my 81 Camaro still looks great other than some minor stone chips as it is a driver and I still pick up the odd trophy. Thanks for the excellent job Chris !
